The information below are the terms and conditions of use of this website, newsletter, videos, webinars, podcasts, classes, coaching & mentoring services, advising & consulting services, workshops, training courses, and other services. If you are using this website, you are consenting to these conditions. 

I try to keep things up-to-date, so I reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions, along with the website contents, at any time.

Disclaimers

When using any of my services, you agree to take full responsibility for the outcomes. 

For my part, I take pride in my dedication towards giving you my best work. However, I cannot take responsibility for guaranteeing that you will achieve specific experience or outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I exclude all representations, warranties, undertakings and guarantees relating to my services. I will be released from any blame or claim arising from any detrimental situation occurring from following any advice given.

Refunds

No refunds are offered for the purchase of courses, coaching, or any sales through this website, or through Claire Mahon.  All sales are final.

Data protection

When you sign up to be on my mailing list to receive my newsletter, or your information is otherwise collected via this website, rest assured that I do my best to observe the provisions of relevant data protection legislation in entering and processing personal data. In particular, your name, address or email address is only ever collected, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis, and access to the use of offers and services, is, wherever possible, given without the requirement to reveal personal data. 

Data collected from coaching clients

For those working with me as coaching & mentoring clients, I collect your name, email and contact details for the purpose of our coaching sessions. This data is held within my online booking system, Satori, and my private files stored on a secure and encrypted server, Tresorit.

I may share aspects of our coaching work during professional supervision, but no details are shared that could identify you specifically. 

I may record our sessions for your own reflective purposes. These recordings are stored in a secure and encrypted server, Tresorit, and deleted on a regular basis.

When you register as a client for individual or group coaching, the data you voluntarily provide may be held by MailChimp, Paypal, Stripe, Google forms, and OKDoki, for the purposes of delivering services to you.

Data collected from newsletter subscribers

When you sign up for my newsletter, I collect your name and email address, and this data is held in MailChimp. Your name and email address are used to contact you.

I may collect your IP address and information regarding your location and pages accessed. This provides analysis of general website traffic flows, activity and performance. This meta-data is collected and stored in Squarespace and Google Analytics and cannot be used to identify you as an individual. 

Cookies & Tracking Activity

This site may record information in relation to your use of the site, such as pages visited, searches, referring URL and timestamp. This information is anonymous and only used for market research. This site may collect information about your visit through the use of cookies. You may opt out at any time by modifying your browser settings, however, some areas of this site may stop functioning properly. 

To be honest, I don’t even know how this data gets collected, how to access it, or what to do with this information.  So I’m not going to be sharing it with anyone, and the software that collects it keeps it safe (from me and from others).

Your data rights

You retain all legally protected rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to request access, request correction and request erasure of your personal data.

You have the right to request a copy of the information I hold about you. If you would like a copy of the personal information I hold, please contact me.

You also have the right to be forgotten, so you can request the data I hold, to be deleted.

The trademarks, trade names, brand names and logos of Claire Mahon, Change-Maker Coaching & Mentoring, the Global Human Rights Group, Global Human Rights Consultants, The Mentorship Circle, Global Mentorship Group, whether registered or unregistered, remain the property of Claire Mahon.

All rights are reserved. This means I retain the intellectual property rights, for everything I create, until the end of time.

By purchasing any service, program, course or workshop you agree that all materials are offered for your own personal use. You are not permitted to use any of the content commercially i.e. by using the content to coach, mentor, teach or train others, or to create a similar offering. 

I provide my services to you so that you may use and reproduce the content, information, and material, only for your personal non-commercial use. I do not accept paid advertisements. I do not sell text links or guest posts of any kind. No affiliation compensation is received in any way for mention of any third party products or services.  If I mention or link to a third party, it’s a based solely on my respect. Even then, no guarantee for a specific experience or outcome is given.

Liability for content

I have taken an enormous amount of time and effort to create services that are useful for you, and to the best of my ability I seek to maintain the most up-to-date and accurate information, materials and content. Of course, I’m not perfect and mistakes happen. I can’t guarantee that by the time you come to look at my website or use my services, everything is going to be absolutely accurate, and that information is going to be complete and still up-to-date.
